How long have you been involved with Sacred Trinity Church?
It has been about four months. I came to church last year in September 2023. As soon as I came, I started searching for the churches and that is how I came across Sacred Trinity Church.
Do you have any particular role?
No, there’s no particular role, but I am an active participant and every Sunday after the service I used to arrange the hymn books. I was an active member in my church back in India. So, I would like to do these kind of works here again.
What do you like most about Sacred Trinity?
That’s a good question. The fellowship, you know, all the people are very, very sweet and the fellowship is real and even after the service we, as me and my wife, we like to spend more time at church, you know, like talking with other people. All the congregational members welcomed us, and Rev. Andy really care about us every Sunday. Each one of them, each one of us, cares about each other and the love is the most present thing. Also, I like Paul’s active role in the church and his friendship.
Is there any special moment at Church that you’d like to tell us about?
Yeah. A few weeks before we were being depressed and one week we didn’t even turn up to church. Because we faced many unexpected moments during December. But we decided to go to church whatever goes on. The congregation members, especially Neil and Keith, they prayed for us. They understood by seeing our face only and consoled us through their caring words and biblical advice. And they prayed for us, and they gave care and hope. And that was a very memorable day.
Manchester or Salford?
Salford! Because I go to church here, I live here. Manchester is impressive but I still like Salford and the riverside.
Tea or Coffee?
Tea! But nowadays when I’m studying all day, coffee boosts me up and makes me awake.
City or United?
It’s United!
Morning service or evening service?
Morning service kicks off my day and it gives me a positive vibe. And also, I love to go evening service so both are really good.
Walk or cycle?
I prefer to walk. I prefer to walk even though it’s time consuming. I meet people during my walks, and I love walking. I used to go to my college almost 2 miles every day. I was walking every single day.
