Our Weekly Community Activities

Every week at Sacred Trinity we have a range of community activities that you can join in. They are very much open to all.

The Flat Iron Choir meet on Monday night at 7.30pm with the doors opening at 7pm. The weekly contribution is £4 for those who can afford it. Anyone is welcome whatever your skills or experience at singing. Contact David for further information at David-hillary@outlook.com. The choir take their name from the historic Flat Iron Market that used to be around the church.

Bell Ringing happens on Tuesdays from 7pm but with beginners learning at 6.30pm. It’s a fascinating and very sociable pastime. You can email the group for more information on mugcr@hotmail.com

Manchester School of Samba meet on Wednesdays from 7pm. Beginners keen to learn drumming or dancing are welcome. The group is Greater Manchester’s original Samba band and for more information you can contact Tony on

Chapel Street Camera Club meet on Thursdays at 1pm. This is a very sociable group who meet and go out and about taking photos. Coffee and cake is usually involved. No fancy equipment is necessary. Everyone is welcome. Sometimes the group meets at church but often they meet at an interesting location. Check where they’ll be with Andy on 07436532408. Alcoholics Anonymous meet on Saturdays at 1.30pm. More information about AA can be found here.

We also have some bi-monthly or monthly meetings of two migrant support groups.
