On Sunday 12th June we rededicated our Salford Pals memorials, which have been cleaned up and repaired in preparation for the centenary commemorations. We had a great turn out and a moving service which included reading out all the names on the Thiepval triptych. This has over 300 names on it of Salford men who died on 1st July 1916.
St Philip’s Camera Club have an exhibition of photos that find connections between contemporary Salford and the men who died 100 years ago.
