Christmas Services

Christmas is fast approaching and we have lots of exciting services and events. You’ll be welcome whether you’re a regular, an occasional visitor or never been to us before.

Sunday 11th Dec: Beer and Carols, 7 pm

Don’t expect formal and dignified. Just a good singalong around the piano. We’ll be serving beer and mulled wine and raising money for the Winter Night Shelter

Sunday 18th Dec: Christmas Carol Service, 11.15am

Some of your favourite Carols and readings finishing with communion and then some festive refreshments.

Saturday 24th Dec: Candlelit Christmas Eve Carol Service, 6 pm

The first time we’ve tried this at this time. We’ll be keeping it simple: some favourite carols, a couple of readings, a Christmas story and a prayer and a blessing but we’ll definitely finish it all by candlelight. Very much child friendly with an “ooo” factor.

Sunday 25th Dec: Christmas Day Service, 10 am

It’s Christmas day on a Sunday. We gather to celebrate Christ, who is “God with us” but earlier than usual as it is Christmas Day and you’ve got sprouts and spuds to get ready. Also very child friendly.

Sunday 1st Jan: New Year Day Eucharist 11.15 am

It’s New Year Day on a Sunday and this time we’re definitely not starting early! Our usual Sunday service but please note, we won’t have an evening service on Christmas Day or New Year Day.

Friday 6th Jan 2017: Epiphany Service at 7 pm followed by a Quiz Night.

This year on 12th night we’re going to have a simple service at 7 pm followed by a quiz night and social evening. Post Christmas relaxation and fun.
